John O. Moseley Leadership School

Six Men of Missouri Kappa-Chi Return from the 73rd John O. Moseley Leadership School with Awards

More than 1,000 SAE undergraduates, alumni, staff and faculty will met on Carnival Cruise Lines' newly renovated ship "Imagination" for the 73rd Leadership School. Delegates explored their leadership abilities, learned new skills and interacted with other interesting undergraduates and alumni from around the Realm. The cruise set sail from Miami, Florida, on Thursday, July 24, and returned Monday, July 28, after making stops in Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. In addition to an incredible line-up of world-renowned speakers and leadership programming just for SAE, all delegates will get to take advantage of the cruise ship’s many on-board services, including the pool, shows and similar amenities. Brothers also enjoyed a nightly coat-and-tie dinner with the entire Leadership School delegation.

Brothers Nate Young, Jordan Cross, Charlie Clark, and Brian Glynn attended leadership school as delegates hoping to get the most out of their meetings and seminars to bring back. Brother Garret Mohr attended as an ambassador, which oversees the delegates and has a special learning program as well. Brother Brian Gettinger attended this year as leadership school faculty and gave lectures on time management. This year, they returned with the following awards: Chapter Management (Number 1 for Management), Chapter Achievement (Top 10% of Chapters in Realm), and True Gentleman of the Year Brian Gettinger (Number One Role Model for the Year). Besides having a blast aboard the ship, through the events, meeting brothers from around the realm, they also enjoyed the company of outstanding alumni, and great celebrities such as General Richard Meyers, David Stollman, and Jim Wand.
